Wow, we celebrated my third Mother’s Day on Sunday. It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming Annakate into this world and here we are three Mom’s Days into this journey already. Time is flying faster than one of Katniss’s arrows.
Last Mother’s Day, I was gifted a DSLR camera and I have been very much enjoying being a proud owner of a Nikon D3200. This Mother’s Day, my sweet other half has given me a tripod (Dolica TX570B150SL) and a remote (AmazonBasics Wireless Remote Control for Nikon) which are great additions to my photography journey. With the new accessories, my D3200, and the new lens I got for Christmas, we can finally take beautiful family shots without needing a third party’s assistance. Here are the pictures we have taken at a park nearby.
This is my test shot before I finalized my settings of the camera. Ain’t my husband handsome?
Pictures are taken with Nikon D3200 with AF-S NIKKOR 35mm 1:1.8G Lens.
Mode: Manual
Shutter speed: 1/1000 (in the shade), 1/4000 (in the sun)

Being a mommy to my dearest daughter (and my future son) brings me so much joy and love; I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for this. I am forever grateful to our Heavenly Father for His faithfulness and my supportive husband throughout this wonderful journey of motherhood.
Here’s to many more Mother’s Days to come. Cheers to you and those who celebrate motherhood around the world!
